Now, on to today's Favorite Find: Pampers Swaddlers
Anticipating the arrival of our second child has made me start thinking about the need this little one will have for diapers. With our first child, we exclusively used Pampers Swaddlers when he was a newborn. We bought another brand once, and we absolutely
could not wait until the pack was gone! We didn't know how spoiled we had been with the Swaddlers.
Why we thought they were so great:
1. Our baby's diapers almost never leaked, even at night. The only times we had leaks were when, in our blurry-eyed middle-of-the-night changes we simply did not get the diaper fastened tightly.
2. The stretchy side tabs and elastic leg holes make them easy to conform to your baby's exact size and shape.
3. Although I never personally tried them on, I would assume they were comfortable to the baby! They are extremely absorbent, so even when he was wet he didn't fuss or act uncomfortable.
If I had to describe Pampers Swaddlers in a very concise format, it would be this: Sanity Savers!
When we tried using the other diapers, my husband and I were both very frustrated for several reasons. We had to change the baby's diaper a lot more frequently to prevent leaks. We had to jiggle and wiggle the diaper around to try to coax a good fit out of it. I would guess that even though the actual price we paid was less than that of the Pampers, the cheaper diapers probably ended up costing more in the long run because we had to change them so much more often.
Although Pampers Swaddlers is what I would classify as a premium brand of diapers. There are actually plenty of opportunities to get them for much less than premium prices.
I have personally bought Pampers through all of the following avenues and have saved a great deal through each method.
1. Drugstore deals. If you are new to shopping CVS or Walgreens, you can check out the tutorials

here that will help you learn how to get amazing deals at both of these places. I save up my CVS Extracare Bucks and my Walgreens Register Rewards and use them to buy diapers when I need them. Don't forget to use Pampers coupons! Most of the time that a Procter & Gamble brandsaver insert comes out in the Sunday paper there will be a Pampers coupon in it.
2. Amazon.com. If you've been reading my blog for any length of time, you will have heard me talking about
Swagbucks. You can win

3. Diapers.com. Diapers.com offers great prices on their Pampers products, and they frequently have them on sale. Right now they also have an e-coupon on their site that will take another $2 off a pack of Pampers. Plus, to get even better prices, you should order through

These methods of buying Pampers have saved us a lot of money, and the Pampers themselves have saved us a lot of sanity!

The coupon for free Chiquita Fruit Bites has been reset! This coupon was available a couple weeks ago, but I was just able to print it again. I found these at Wal-Mart in the produce section, and I also found peelies on the pineapple singles for "Buy any single, get a pineapple single free."
