Wow! Hotel Rooms for a Penny!!!

I think I need to find some reason to go on vacation in April! Red Roof Inn is offering up rooms for ONE PENNY April 1st-April 15th!

What's the catch? As far as I can tell, there is none. The rooms actually cost one penny (plus any applicable taxes.)

You must book this deal online here. The one-penny rooms become available everyday at noon, but I'm guessing they'll sell out incredibly fast, so if you're wanting one, you'd better jump on it right away at noon.

From the Red Roof website:

“This deal applies to all participating Red Roofs. Rooms will be available for online booking 48 hours in advance. For example, on April 1, rooms for 4/2 and 4/3 will become available. Rooms become available online from 3/31 to 4/13 every day at noon EDT. Only one room per booking, and one room per guest. Some blackout dates may apply and are determined by the individual Red Roof property.”

Harris Teeter Triples March 24 - 30

Update: If you were having trouble accessing the document, it should be fixed now.

Harris Teeter will be tripling coupons March 24 - 30. Coupons with a face value of up to $.99 will be triple with a limit of 20 per household per day.

I have posted the match-ups in a Google Document which will allow you to sort the list according to your own preference - by price, insert date, or aisle of the store.

-The Master List is what will come up when you initially click on the link to the document. This is what you want to look at if you keep checking back to see if I've added anything new. Anything new that has been added to the list will be at the bottom of the Master List spreadsheet. ( I may or may not have time to add them to the other lists.)

-At the bottom of the spreadsheet you will see options to sort by price, by coupon source, or by aisle.

• If you're the type that likes to shop according to what will be the cheapest, you'll want to sort by price. The list is sorted by the least expensive to the most expensive.

• If you like to file your coupon inserts whole and only cut out the coupons when you need them, you'll want to sort by insert. The coupons are listed in order by insert date with printable coupons and other sources included as well.

• If you want to print out a list for the store, you can sort by aisle to make your trip through the store go a little faster.

-Any price with an asterisk beside it is presently on sale, but may or may not be on sale next week. I can't predict the future, so please don't get mad at me if it's not on sale during triples week!

Update: Kmart has pulled this coupon from their website and is not accepting it at their stores anymore. They're not impressing me with the way they handle coupons. I hope some of you were able to use it before it was too late!

Run to Food Lion! (HOT Deal on Kraft Cheese!)

You can get an incredible deal on Kraft Cheese this week at Food Lion with a hot new blinkie coupon they've put out. (Hopefully they will have it out at your Food Lion.) This week (through the 23rd) when you buy 5 Kraft products, you automatically get $5 off at the register. There is a blinkie right beside the cheese for Buy One Kraft Shredded Cheese, Get One Free. You can do this deal a couple different ways:

Buy 6 bags of cheese at $2.50 each = $15
Minus $5 instant savings = $10
Minus 3 BOGO coupons = $2.50 for 6 bags ($.42 a bag!)

Buy 4 bags of cheese at $2.50 each = $10.00
Buy one Breakstone's sour cream (this is included in the Buy 5, get $5 off promo) at $1.79 = $11.79
Minus $5 instant savings = $6.79
Minus 2 BOGO coupons = $1.79
Minus $.60 Breakstone’s printable coupon or $.55 Breakstone’s printable coupon = $1.19 or $1.24 for everything ($.24 per item!)

I was also able to use a $1/2 blinkie (these were out last month) along with the BOGO coupons, making my total just $.19 for everything! Do note that the coupons beeped like crazy, so it will just depend on whether your manager will put them through for you.

New Printable Coupons = Lots of Freebies!

• Get a Printable Scotties Tissue Coupon when you become a Scotties fan on Facebook. Click on the "Scotties Tissue Savings" tab and fill out your information. Based on your information, you'll receive either a $.50 or a $1.00 coupon. These go on sale for under $1 quite often making them free with the $1 coupon. If your store doubles coupons they'll be free with the $.50 coupon as well.

• It seems as if the $1 off McCormick coupon on coupons.com has reset. If you already printed it, you should be able to print it again. Packets of taco seasoning are priced under $1, so you can get them free with the coupon!

• Coupons.com also has a new coupon for $.50 off a Lifesavers Strings n Rings single serve pouch. I have seen reports that these are only $.64 at Wal-Mart, making them just $.14 after the coupon. Or, if you have a store that doubles coupons, you may be able to get them for free!

• Get a coupon by email for a FREE box of Better Oats Oatmeal! Go here and sign up to take the Better Oats Oatmeal Taste Test. You will receive an email with a coupon for a FREE box of oats! (Thanks, Kansas City Mamas!)
